Couldn't agree more. Kind of like a meal which tastes better when hungry and savored more when smaller. The framed view conjours up a portal to another world, encouraging day dreaming and romanticism while the all glass wall reveals nothing more than what's infront of you.

Those are very nice pictures. I also love taking pictures when I travel, usually on my Canon DSLR. But sometimes I also take pictures using my trusty Sidekick smartphone. When I do, I instantly upload on my Flickr account. I really can't leave home without it.
